Being a REALTOR® is more than just helping clients buy or sell a home. As a REALTOR®, you’ve made a commitment to the Code of Ethics. And your knowledge of the real estate industry sets you apart from the competition. But keeping your skills honed can be difficult when you’re busy.
That’s why the National Association of REALTORS® created the Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) program. It’s designed to keep REALTORS® running at the top of their game.
Knowledge increases confidence. Confidence fosters stronger decisions. Stronger decisions allow you to better serve your clients
But C2EX isn’t a course or a certification. It’s an individualized online learning adventure. No two members will have the same experience. And it’s free!
Designed as a wholistic program, C2EX starts with a self-assessment that measures your proficiency in 10 competency areas related to:
- Data privacy
- Customer service
- The Code of Ethics
- Advocacy
- Technology
- And other important topics
Once you’ve finished the assessment, the C2EX platform will generate customized learning paths and will provide tools and resources to increase your knowledge and skills. Action steps and learning prospects are fun and engaging.
The New C2EX App Experience
You can access C2EX, NAR’s innovative professional endorsement program, as a mobile app—anywhere, anytime—along with a digital coach who assists and motivates you on your endorsement journey.
With the flexibility to create a development plan tailored to your schedule, you gain access to handy, concise content that fits seamlessly into your day-to-day tasks. The C2EX program’s digital coach helps you prioritize topics best suited to your individual growth. Throughout your journey, your digital coach offers ongoing guidance, tips, and point-of-need support. Plus, the C2EX app guides you to Real Life Experiences that provide vital opportunities to apply your expertise in the real world.
C2EX Is a Code of Ethics Training Equivalency
As of November 2019, members who earn the Commitment to Excellence endorsement will satisfy the Code of Ethics training requirement.
Please note: The C2EX Endorsement does not qualify for Continuing Education credits through state licensing bodies. For more information on how to receive CE credit for individual licensing, please contact the applicable state and local association of REALTORS®.
